Chulmleigh Tennis Club is a new and friendly club welcoming members of all ages and abilities - from beginners through to league players. In our first six months, membership reached 50, and at the end of our first full year we have over 100 members, including a strong junior section. |

Our very own Alex White has successfully passed his level 1 certificate in tennis coaching. "I would like to firstly thank the tennis committee and the club for offering to sponsor me £100. Without it I would not be able to participate on the course. It has been a fantastic learning experience and I have really improved my knowledge of the game that is tennis. I will now be able to, in the presence of a coach, teach mini tennis, run tennis tournaments and provide extra assistance to the coach with other age groups" He added "I am hoping in the next few weeks to find out whether I have been sponsored to do my Level 2 coaching award which will allow me to coach independently. I really believe that our club is firmly on the rise and would recommend anyone to do their coaching qualification as it is a really good experience" |
